Description:
A poor open cluster best seen in binoculars or low-power scopes.   M29 has about 80 stellar members, a dozen of which are fairly bright.   M29 would be much more impressive were it not located in the plane of the Milky Way.   Interstellar dust dims this cluster by a factor of three magnitudes.
