Description:
A loose gathering of stars located west of M24 and easily visible to the unaided eye.   This cluster contains an estimated 600 stars, and is a delightful sight in binoculars and telescopes.   Look for the Cepheid variable star U Sagittarri in this cluster.   U Sagittarri varies predictably in brightness by almost an order of magnitude in just over 6 days.
